Moses Coates Jr. Farm

The Moses Coates Jr. Farm, also known as Meadow Brook Farm, is a historic site located in Schuylkill Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. This 2+1⁄2-story, ell-shaped stone structure, which dates back to circa 1754, showcases Georgian architectural style and has undergone several expansions, including a significant renovation in 1933 when it was transformed into a clubhouse for a nine-hole golf course. The farm complex includes a bank barn, carriage house, and two spring houses. Notably, during the American Revolution, it served as quarters for American officers, making it a significant landmark for both tourists and researchers interested in early American history.
