Madhur Canteen, located at the University of Dhaka, is a historic restaurant that has played a significant role in the socio-political landscape of Bangladesh since its establishment in 1921. Founded by Madhusudan Dey, who became a martyr during the Bangladesh Liberation War, the canteen served as a hub for various political movements, including the Language Movements and the 1969 uprising.
