City Hall Square Building

The City Hall Square Building was a notable skyscraper in Chicago, standing at 259 ft (79 m) tall with 21 floors. Completed in 1912, it showcased neo-classical architecture with ornamental stone cladding and brick mid-façade. Located on North Clark Street opposite Chicago City Hall, it served as an office building until its demolition in 1965 to make way for the Richard J. Daley Center. This historical site reflects the architectural evolution of Chicago and the city's urban development.
