Carpenter's Hall - First Continental Congress site

Carpenter's Hall hosted the First Continental Congress in September–October 1774, where delegates from twelve colonies met to coordinate responses to British policies. The building was constructed by the Carpenters' Company in 1770 and remains an intact 18th-century meeting hall. It is interpreted as a site central to early Revolutionary-era deliberations in Philadelphia.
