Salisbury Park Conservation Area

Salisbury Park Conservation Area, located in Wrexham, North Wales, is a picturesque residential area rich in Victorian architecture and history. Centered around Salisbury Road and Chapel Street, it features twelve grade II listed buildings, including Beechley House and the Green Dragon pub. The area, originally agricultural land, transformed in the 18th to 20th centuries as Wrexham expanded. Visitors can explore charming streets lined with Ruabon red brick and Welsh slate buildings, while enjoying views over the River Gwenfro. The conservation area was officially designated in 1996 and offers a glimpse into the architectural heritage and historical development of Wrexham.
