Steele Indian School Park - former Phoenix Indian School site

Steele Indian School Park occupies the former Phoenix Indian School campus and preserves several historic buildings and memorials connected to the site's history. The park includes the Japanese Friendship Garden (Rohō-en), a veterans' memorial, playgrounds, and open lawns used for festivals and community events. It opened as a public park after the school's closure and is managed by the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department.
