Rebecca Nurse Homestead

The Rebecca Nurse Homestead, located in Danvers, Massachusetts, is a historic colonial house built around 1678, now serving as a museum. It honors Rebecca Nurse, a notable figure from the Salem witch trials, who was accused and executed in 1692. The homestead features four restored rooms open to the public, showcasing period furnishings, and is set on 27 acres that include various outbuildings and the Nurse Burial Ground. Visitors can explore the grounds, which also feature a reconstruction of the earliest Salem Village Meetinghouse and a monument dedicated to Nurse, marking the first memorial to a witchcraft victim in North America.
