Conservatory of Flowers (Golden Gate Park)

The Conservatory of Flowers is a Victorian-era greenhouse constructed in 1879 and is one of the oldest surviving wood-and-glass conservatories in the United States. It was built to display exotic plant collections for Golden Gate Park and has undergone multiple restorations to repair storm and age-related damage while preserving its historic structure. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and remains a focal piece of 19th-century park infrastructure in San Francisco.
