Matthews Arena

Matthews Arena, located in Boston, Massachusetts, is a historic multi-purpose arena owned by Northeastern University. Originally opened in 1910 as the Boston Arena, it is recognized as the world's oldest multi-purpose athletic building and the oldest ice hockey arena still in use. The venue has a rich history, serving as the original home for the NHL's Boston Bruins and the NBA's Boston Celtics. It hosted numerous sporting events, including college hockey and basketball, as well as community events like graduation ceremonies and concerts.
