Symphony Hall - celebrated concert-hall acoustics

Symphony Hall opened in 1900 and has been the home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra since its completion. Acoustic physicist Wallace Clement Sabine consulted on its design, and the hall is widely regarded as one of the finest concert halls acoustically in the world. The building is a National Historic Landmark and also serves as the long-time home of the Boston Pops Orchestra.
