Küçüksu Pavilion

Küçüksu Pavilion, located in the Beykoz district of Istanbul, Turkey, is a stunning neo-baroque summer pavilion built for Ottoman sultans. Commissioned by Sultan Abd-ul-Mejid I and completed in 1857, it features intricate designs by architects Garabet Amira Balyan and Nigoğayos Balyan. The pavilion served as a retreat for sultans during hunting excursions and boasts a beautifully decorated interior with crystal chandeliers and Italian marble fireplaces. Surrounded by a picturesque garden with cast iron railings, it has been a public museum since its restoration in 1944. The pavilion also gained fame as a filming location for the James Bond movie 'The World Is Not Enough' and the Bollywood film 'Ek Tha Tiger', making it a notable attraction for tourists and film enthusiasts alike.
