Supreme Court courtroom and internal restrictions

The Supreme Court of the United States building at 1 First Street NE houses the nation's highest court. Public access to the courtroom is controlled: visitors pass through security screening, courtroom seating is limited, and photography inside the courtroom is prohibited. Entry to justices' chambers and many internal offices is restricted to Court personnel and authorized visitors.
