Charlotte Convention Center – downtown event hub for locals

The Charlotte Convention Center is a major event facility in Uptown that hosts regional trade shows, community expos, and local conventions in addition to national conferences. Opened in its current expanded form in 1995 and later renovated, the center often schedules events that draw Charlotte residents such as home and garden shows, career fairs, and cultural festivals.
