Finch Building (Scranton, Pennsylvania)

The Finch Building, a historic stone structure located in downtown Scranton, Pennsylvania, was designed by William Scott-Collins in the Renaissance revival style and completed in 1899. Named after the Finch Manufacturing Company, it originally housed the International Correspondence School, catering to coal miners in the region. Over the years, it also served as offices for the Hudson Coal Company. Recognized for its historical significance, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 and has since been transformed into Finch Towers, an apartment building, making it a unique blend of history and modern living.
