Ship Tavern is located in the basement of the Brown Palace Hotel and is characterized by a low-ceilinged, wood-paneled dining and bar room with a nautical motif. The space has functioned as the hotel's subterranean bar/restaurant for many decades and is noted locally for its intimate, below-ground atmosphere. The tavern is accessed from within the Brown Palace and sits beneath the hotel’s street-level lobby.
