The General Ice Cream Corporation Building, located at 485 Plainfield Street in Providence, Rhode Island, is a historic industrial site notable for its role in the ice cream industry. Constructed between 1915 and 1918, this brick structure features two sections, reflecting the growth of the Dolbey Ice Cream Company, which became the state's largest ice cream producer by 1921. The building operated under various corporate identities until 1960 and later produced Sealtest ice cream until its closure in 1967.
