Sutro Baths sea caves (Lands End)

The ruins of Adolph Sutro's Sutro Baths, built in 1896 and once among the world's largest saltwater pool complexes, lie at Lands End adjacent to wave‑cut sea caves carved into the coastal cliffs. The baths complex burned in 1966 and its remaining concrete walls and tidepools sit above natural sea caves that are more exposed and visited at low tide. The site and the nearby caves are managed by the National Park Service as part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
