Steves Homestead Museum (King William tract)

Steves Homestead was built in 1876 at the southern end of the King William neighborhood, which emerged after mid-19th-century surveying and subdivision of riverfront estates into residential lots. The house illustrates the pattern of lotting and development laid out when the King William tract was platted for German immigrant homeowners. The site is now a museum interpreting the 19th-century domestic architecture and the neighborhood’s planned lotting.
