Fort Worth Water Gardens photography and short-video backdrop

Designed by Philip Johnson and opened in 1974, the Fort Worth Water Gardens downtown feature active, aerating and terraced pools with dramatic concrete terraces and cascades. The site's distinctive geometry and moving water have made it a frequent backdrop for architectural photography and short-form social media videos that are widely shared online. The Water Gardens are maintained by the City of Fort Worth and sit adjacent to the Fort Worth Convention Center.
