Amir Timur Museum

The Amir Timur Museum in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, is a tribute to the legendary Turco-Mongol warlord Amir Timur, also known as Tamerlane. Opened in 1996, the museum showcases over 5,000 artifacts that highlight Timur's significant contributions to science, culture, and architecture during the Timurid Renaissance. The museum's design features a striking blue cupola reminiscent of the Gur-e-Amir mausoleum, and it attracts more than 2 million visitors annually, including foreign dignitaries.
