R. J. Hill Building

The R. J. Hill Building is a historic commercial structure located in Palacios, Texas, built in 1910 from locally manufactured cast concrete blocks. This two-story building showcases Richardsonian Romanesque architectural elements and is notable for its unique columns. Once promoted as a seaside resort, the building is now slated to serve as a museum by the Palacios Area Historical Association. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2009 and is conveniently situated just a block from Tres Palacios Bay, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
