William Post Mansion

The William Post Mansion, also known as the Post Mansion Inn, is a historic home located in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Built in the 1860s and renovated in 1891 in the Neo-Classical Revival style, this striking 2+1⁄2-story brick dwelling features a three-story stone tower and a grand portico with Doric columns. The estate includes several outbuildings related to a former dairy operation, a guest house, and a charming gazebo, making it a unique destination for tourists and researchers interested in architectural history and rural heritage. The mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
