Wanamaker Eagle (Macy's Center City)

A large bronze eagle known as the Wanamaker Eagle is displayed in the Grand Court of the Wanamaker Building, now Macy's Center City. The eagle has served as a traditional meeting point for shoppers since the early 20th century and is tied to the department store's history. The Wanamaker Building is also known for its pipe organ and the annual Wanamaker Organ Concerts.
