Mullett Rowhouses

The Mullett Rowhouses, located at 2517, 2519, and 2525 Pennsylvania Ave. Northwest in Washington, D.C., are historic luxury townhouses designed by architect Alfred B. Mullett and completed in 1889. Notable for their Queen Anne architectural style and red brick facade, these structures reflect the opulence of their era. Mullett, who also designed the State, War, and Navy Building, faced financial difficulties related to this project, which reportedly led to his tragic suicide. The rowhouses have been recognized for their historical significance, being listed on the District of Columbia Inventory of Historic Sites since 1990 and on the National Register of Historic Places since 1994.
