Jacksonville Icemen ECHL franchise

The Jacksonville Icemen began play in the ECHL in the 2017–18 season and play their home games at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. The team brought professional hockey to downtown Jacksonville and hosts regular-season ECHL contests and community events at the arena. The Icemen are the city's current minor-league hockey franchise.
