Braun Music Center

The Braun Music Center at Stanford University, opened in 1984, serves as the heart of music education on campus, linking residential and activity areas. Funded largely by the Carl F. Braun Trust in memory of Carl Braun, a Stanford alumnus, the center features rehearsal studios, classrooms, and the intimate Campbell Recital Hall. Its architecture reflects traditional Stanford styles with bright glass arches and red-tiled columns, and it houses the Stanford Music Library, which contains rare manuscripts and recordings. The center is also conveniently located near Dinkelspiel Auditorium, enhancing its role as a vibrant hub for music and performance.
