Cosgrove Hall, Northamptonshire

Cosgrove Hall is a historic early-18th-century Grade II listed country house located in Cosgrove, Northamptonshire. Originally built by the Furtho family, it has a rich history, including ownership by John Christopher Mansel in the 19th century and a visit from Queen Geraldine of Albania in 1945. Although the hall is not open to the public and was tragically destroyed by fire in 2016, visitors can still explore other Grade II structures on the estate, such as the dovecote, stable block, and ice house. Additionally, an excavated Roman bath house can be viewed from the nearby Grand Union Canal, making it a site of interest for both tourists and researchers.
