Llety'r Dryw

Llety'r Dryw is a historic Grade II listed house located on Abergele Road in Colwyn Bay, Wales. Built in 1893 for John Eden, the uncle of British Prime Minister Anthony Eden, it showcases the architectural style of the 17th-century vernacular of Northern England. Designed by the Chester architects Douglas and Fordham, the house features a simple stone-built structure with red sandstone dressings, a slate roof adorned with red tiles, and distinctive brick chimneystacks. Originally serving as the Fire Brigade Headquarters and later the North Wales Police Authority, Llety'r Dryw retains much of its original interior joinery, making it a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural history.
