Sunset Cliffs Natural Park stretches along the Point Loma peninsula and includes numerous informal stairways, small coves, and cliff ledges that provide secluded viewpoints over the Pacific and nearby caves at low tide. The bluff-top paths and lesser-known headlands frequently offer quieter vantage points for sunset viewing and tidepool observation compared with central La Jolla overlooks.
