Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge (Santiago Calatrava)

The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge spans the Trinity River and was designed by architect Santiago Calatrava; it opened in 2012 as part of downtown Dallas's Trinity River corridor redevelopment. The bridge is notable for its 400-foot central arch pylon and cable-stayed design and quickly became an architectural and photographic landmark on the Dallas skyline. Its construction aimed to improve connections between West Dallas and downtown and to serve as a signature civic structure.
