Artisan's Patio Complex

The Artisan's Patio Complex, located in Hollywood, California, is a historic retail building designed by Morgan, Walls & Clements and completed in 1918. It is notable for being the only surviving courtyard building in the area and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. Declared a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 1989, the complex features a unique U-shaped design with a tiled exterior, arched entry, and a charming courtyard with a fountain. Today, it houses fifteen small businesses, including the renowned Hollywood Movie Poster store, which has been operating since 1979, making it the oldest memorabilia store in the world at its original location.
