Izmaylova's House

Izmaylova's House, located at 27 Oranzherejnaya Street in Pushkin, Saint Petersburg, is a historically significant building constructed between 1836 and 1839. Designed by architect Sebastian Cherfolio, it showcases late Neoclassical architecture with symmetrical elements and a striking double arch that aligns with the nearby St Catherine's Cathedral. Originally intended for government institutions, the area evolved to include private residences, with notable residents including titular counsellor P. P. Izmailov and later the Timofeevs. In the 20th century, it housed Leonov's store, and today, the second floor accommodates the city's prosecutor's office. Visitors can appreciate its architectural details, including wide gables and a partially preserved relief of a wreath and lyre.
