Kalmithaus

The Kalmithaus, also known as the Ludwigshafener Hut, is a picturesque refuge located in the Palatinate Forest of Germany, specifically near Maikammer in the Rhineland-Palatinate region. Situated at the summit of Kalmit, the highest peak in the area at 672.6 meters, it offers breathtaking views of the Upper Rhine Plain and the German Wine Road. The hut has a rich history, originally established in 1882, and has undergone several reconstructions, with the current structure inaugurated in 1983.
