Atlassian Central

Atlassian Central is an impressive skyscraper currently under construction in Sydney, Australia, set to become the tallest hybrid timber structure in the world upon completion. Designed by SHoP Architects and BVN Architecture, this 39-story building will reach a height of 183 meters and features a striking glass and steel exoskeleton, planted terraces, and an innovative natural ventilation system. It will serve as the headquarters for Atlassian and include a unique 500-bed co-living accommodation operated by YHA Australia on its lower floors. The project, part of a broader initiative to develop a technology district near Central railway station, began construction in August 2022 and is expected to be completed by 2026, with an estimated cost of $1.4 billion AUD.
