The Couture

The Couture is a striking 507-foot tall high-rise apartment building located in Downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, making it the tallest residential building in the state upon its completion in 2024. This 44-story tower features 322 upscale apartments, alongside 50,000 square feet dedicated to restaurants and retail, and an extensive 1,100-space parking structure. The project, which began in 2012, faced various design changes and legal challenges before breaking ground in 2021. Notably, it includes a public transit concourse with connections to streetcars and buses, enhancing accessibility for residents and visitors alike. As of August 2024, the building is in the leasing phase, showcasing Milwaukee's commitment to urban development and modern living.
