Mormon Battalion Historic Site

The Mormon Battalion Historic Site in Old Town San Diego interprets the service of the Mormon Battalion, a U.S. Army unit that marched during the Mexican–American War in 1846–1847. The site includes a museum with exhibits, dioramas, and artifacts that explain the battalion's march, military service, and contributions to early California settlement.
