Anchor Brewing Company (Potrero Hill)

Anchor Brewing Company's Potrero Hill facility at 1705 Mariposa Street produced Anchor Steam Beer and was a longtime local brewery and neighborhood landmark. The Anchor brand traces origins to the 19th century and was revived in the 1960s, helping to catalyze the American craft beer movement. The Potrero Hill brewery offered public tours and tastings during much of its operation and was widely associated with San Francisco's brewing history.
