Indiana State Museum (White River State Park building)

The Indiana State Museum's current building in White River State Park opened in 2002 and was constructed to house the state’s history, natural science, and cultural collections in a modern, purpose-built facility. The museum contains rotating and permanent exhibits on Indiana history, geology, and the arts and is sited along Indianapolis’s cultural canal corridor near other institutions. The building replaced the museum’s previous downtown location to provide expanded exhibition and collection space.
