Valley Sports Complex

Valley Sports Complex is a prominent ice hockey rink and sports facility located in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. Initially planned in 2002, it serves as the home ice for several local high school hockey teams, including Burrell, Fox Chapel Area, Knoch, and Plum High Schools. After facing financial challenges and entering receivership in 2009, the complex was acquired in 2012 by Pittsburgh Ice Arena LP, which includes former NHL player Alain Lemieux. Lemieux aims to establish the Alain Lemieux Hockey Academy at the facility, alongside planned refurbishments to enhance the sports experience.
