Ludvigs Minde

Ludvigs Minde is a historic house located at Allégade 22 in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, Denmark. Built in 1770, it is the oldest heritage-listed building on the eastern side of Allégade and was officially listed as a protected building in 1918. Originally constructed by surveyor Johan Jørgen Berner, the house has a rich history, having served as a summer residence for notable figures and undergone several ownership changes. The property was later owned by Frantz Hunæus, a ship surgeon, who continued the tradition of renting rooms to summer guests. The building's name, Ludvigs Minde, was established in 1913 to honor Ludvig Ernst Reeberg, who bequeathed the estate for the benefit of bankrupt estate owners. Today, Ludvigs Minde stands as a testament to Frederiksberg's architectural heritage and social history, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
