Tivoli Student Union (adaptive reuse of Tivoli Brewing Company)

The Tivoli Student Union on the Auraria Campus occupies the former Tivoli Brewing Company brewery building and is a widely cited example of industrial-to-institutional adaptive reuse in Denver. The brick brewery structure was preserved and repurposed to house student services, dining, and public spaces while retaining historic architectural elements that reference the site's brewing past. The Tivoli name and brewery heritage remain visible in signage and interpretive elements within the building.
