Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities

The Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, located in the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter of Oxford, is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the arts and humanities. Funded by a generous £185 million donation from billionaire Stephen A. Schwarzman, construction began in February 2023 and is set to be completed in 2025. The centre features a concert hall, exhibition spaces, and academic facilities for various disciplines including English, History, Music, and Philosophy, as well as a new Institute for Ethics in AI. Designed by Hopkins Architects, the building harmonizes with Oxford's architectural style and aims to enhance public engagement with the humanities through accessible events and performances.
