Old South Meeting House historic meeting space and exhibits

The Old South Meeting House, built in 1729 at 310 Washington Street, served as a central gathering place for colonial public meetings and was a principal site for the protests that led to the December 1773 Boston Tea Party. The building now operates as a museum with installations and exhibits interpreting its role in revolutionary-era public assembly and protest. The meeting house's interior, including its original pulpit and gallery configuration, is preserved as part of the historic installation.
