Belmont Mansion

Belmont Mansion is an 1853 Italianate villa on the Belmont University campus, preserved as a house museum documenting the Acklen family and Gilded Age life in Nashville. The mansion contains original furnishings, decorative arts, and interpretive exhibits about antebellum and postbellum Nashville. Architectural and history enthusiasts often visit specifically to tour the restored interiors and grounds. The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
