Binion's Gambling Hall and Hotel

Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel, originally known as Binion's Horseshoe, is a historic casino located on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. Founded in 1951 by Benny Binion, it was notable for its unique frontier-style decor and for being the first casino to offer comps to all gamblers, regardless of their betting amounts. The casino gained fame for its high table limits and was the birthplace of the World Series of Poker, which has grown to become the largest poker tournament globally. Although the hotel closed in 2009, a portion was reopened as Hotel Apache in 2019, preserving the legacy of one of Las Vegas's most iconic gambling establishments.
