The US Grant Hotel

The US Grant Hotel opened in 1910, built by Ulysses S. Grant Jr. and named after his father, President Ulysses S. Grant. The Beaux-Arts hotel has hosted presidents, dignitaries, and celebrities over its history and is recognized as a historic luxury hotel in downtown San Diego. Its landmark presence on Broadway contributes to the historic streetscape between the Gaslamp Quarter and Civic Center.
