Peschier House

The Peschier House, located at Holmens Kanal in Copenhagen's Old Town, is a historic building with a rich past. Originally established in the late 17th century, it gained prominence in 1784 when acquired by merchant Pierre Peschier, who commissioned a new design after the Great Fire of 1795. The building has served various purposes over the years, including as a venue for the Student Society, where notable figures like Hans Christian Andersen performed. In 1872, it became a bank building, eventually housing Danske Bank. Currently, it is set to transition to new ownership, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers exploring Copenhagen's architectural and commercial history.
