Vesterbro Pharmacy

Vesterbro Pharmacy, established in 1795 in Copenhagen's Vesterbro district, operated until 1992 and is notable for its historical architecture, with buildings dating back to the 19th century. Originally founded by chemist Johan Gottlieb Blau, the pharmacy changed hands several times and moved to its current location in 1826. The building, designed by Peter Heinrich Christoph Hagemann, was expanded in 1884 and is now listed as a historical site. Today, the former pharmacy site houses a cocktail bar and a burger restaurant, blending history with modern culinary experiences, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
