The Yards Park - Rill, boardwalk, and waterfront installations

The Yards Park in the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood opened in 2010 and includes engineered water features (the Rill and basin), a pedestrian boardwalk, plazas, and a Great Lawn that function as permanent public landscape and event installations along the Anacostia River. The park was created as part of the larger Yards redevelopment and is maintained as a public amenity hosting seasonal art displays, performances, and community programming.
