Henry Hirshfeld House and Cottage

The Henry Hirshfeld House and Cottage, located in downtown Austin, Texas, are historic homes that showcase the architectural heritage of the late 19th century. Originally built for the prominent Hirshfeld family, the cottage dates back to 1873, while the larger house was completed in 1885 by local architect John Andrewartha. These well-preserved buildings now serve as the Office of Governmental Relations for the Texas A&M University System and were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
